Default REl Steel

Would anyone know of any standard 17" steel wheels that I can put on my wife's 03 GT Turbo. We have been having problems for the last many months losing air on 3 of the 4 wheels.

It has become a chronic problem, and she is afraid to go to far from the house. Every 4 or 5 days, the tires lose anywhere from 5 to 15 lbs. of air. I'm sick of putting air in every few days.

Thanks,

Kennybopaloo

Check your valve stems. Use some soapy waater and spray on the stems if they bubble up those are the culprit.

If the valve stems are ok, have the tires unmounted and clean the rim in the bead area. Some (not all) alloy wheels can oxidize and cause a leak. Are these new tires? If so, then go back to where you had them installed. The tire dealer should take care of it. Dont let them use a wire brush to clean the bead seat. A scotch brite pad will work and not cause more scratches like a wire brush. goood luck
