Would anyone know of any standard 17" steel wheels that I can put on my wife's 03 GT Turbo. We have been having problems for the last many months losing air on 3 of the 4 wheels. It has become a chronic problem, and she is afraid to go to far from the house. Every 4 or 5 days, the tires lose anywhere from 5 to 15 lbs. of air. I'm sick of putting air in every few days. Thanks, Kennybopaloo |

If the valve stems are ok, have the tires unmounted and clean the rim in the bead area. Some (not all) alloy wheels can oxidize and cause a leak. Are these new tires? If so, then go back to where you had them installed. The tire dealer should take care of it. Dont let them use a wire brush to clean the bead seat. A scotch brite pad will work and not cause more scratches like a wire brush. goood luck
