Default New PT Owner - Rims?
Hey:

I just bought a brand new 2006 PT Cruiser Base Wagon. I love it, except for the standard 15" bolt-on steel wheel covers.

I am looking at upgrading my rims, but I'd prefer to be able to simply buy new rims instead of comlpetely new wheels and tires.

Can I go up to 16" rims, or would I have to find some 15" bolt-on rims? Any suggestions of any available options out there? I should mention I am in Southern Ontario. Thank you!

You may be able to find some 15" alloy wheels, but you have to stick to 15" if you don't want to buy tires...
Suggestion -
Browse the Forums for people selling off 16" or 17" PT wheels/tires - there are some good deals...

Hey, one more question:

Does anyone know what the average cost may be of moving up to 17" wheels and tires? I am not looking at anything too extravagant...

depends on rims & tires , i got a set of 4 rims with very good tites (stock gt rims ) shipped to my door for 400.00 that was from ebay
