Is this possible? I've heard of some FWD cars fitting RWD wheels, but as a result the wheels stick out passed the fendor. Does anyone know how many inches this would be?
I really like that deep dished look on a wheel, and i was also thinking about purchasing the side fendor flares that flare out 1.5 inches just to compensate for the wheels. |

ive been trying to find the same look , the closest i have come is the foose spank rims but depending who you talk to the , ive been told everything from they will not work to you can only use 18inch or 20 inch http://www.victoriatire.com/ and look under foose spank
alsohttp://www.bozeforged.com/wheels.htm h can make customrims in that style but you better have your gold card ready either way , hope this help you[^][?] |

I'm running 18x7.5 +35mm offset with 235/40 tires. From the looks of things, I'd say you could maybe go to a +25mm to get the wide trak look. Consider that a RWD wheel is around 0mm stock to a negative offset for deep dish. A potential problem though may be caliper clearance, too.
If you really want the dished rim look, check http://store1.yimg.com/I/speedandstyle_1743_289480 and http://www.streetstyler.com/ArospeedChaosWheels.htm I believe this wheel has a 360-degree machined lip behind the spokes! |

This is the wheel look im trying to go for
http://www.californiacruisers.com/boss66DR.jpg The rim has that deep dish look yet the wheels are within the fendors. QUESTION 1: Is this a particular type of wheel? ..or had there been body work done to make it fit? QUESTION 2: anyone know a list of brands for wheels that have this deepdish/lip look?!? ![]() |
