Default Water Marks

Hi guys..anyone know how to take water marks off your disk brakes?

Water marks on the disk brakes. Don't they just wipe off when you apply the brakes [:I] or are they on the part of the disk that doesn't get touched by the pad? If so, a light sanding of 1000 grit sand paper or steel wool should remove any spots.
