Was just looking for some input on Ceramic Break Pads or if there is another way to stop the dust other than the dust guards? I just think they will detract from my wheels.

QuicksilverDon went with the ceramic pads from NAPA, I went with HAWK Performance pads off eBay. Those plus other good pads will drastically reduce or eliminate the dust. The OEM pads are crap. Not only will you get rid of the dust, you'll notice a marked improvement in stopping power.

I put Morse Ceramic pads on the 2002. Much less dust and stopping is OK or about the same as OEM pads. I put the NAPA Ceramic pads on the 2003 and again much less dust but the stopping is much better! The NAPA pads have the same "footprint" as the OEM pads, the Morse pads were a smaller "footprint" so therefore the so-so stopping.

Definitely go with the ceramic pads. Just be sure to get the 100% ceramic ones. NAPA Ceramix pads are great. I have them on 2 Cruisers and will be putting them on my Sebring convertible very soon.

The top-line NAPA pads are Raybestos Ceramic pads.
They reduce dust down to near zero.

Another happy customer - just replaced the old pads w/ceramic pads & replaced the rotors today. $150 done deal. Smooth as silk, much quicker stops.
