Cool dress up those stock steel wheels

So I went running around town this week looking for some old school wheel rings. Autozone and Oreilly had them (Well Oreilly had real metal chrome ones). 10 bux each BTW thats a cheap way to go old school look.

So i popped them on and I think they look way better than the stock pt hubcaps. I'm still looking for some kind of center cap to bolt on under the lugs and cover the hubs but for now I have some cool colored lug nuts that i am putting on that match the paint of the car.

Tell me what you think.... I updated my sig photo with it.

Very nice, good idea. Reminds me of my old Chevy Nova. Yes, some center caps would finish it off nicely.

I really like that. I might try that instead of the baby moon hubcaps I was considering.

I like the look. I was thinking of getting the Moon discs like the old salt flat racers used to use. I'm just concerned that they won't stay on.

They stay on just fine - real snug. Wondering how I'm going to get them off!

Can't find trim rings in stock out here in the boonies...so I repainted the stock wheels in a high gloss black, then contrasted the outer lip with a cream white....ala a 66 VW bug or so.... Gets some comments, all positive. but it's time to change...thinking solid red with a black pinstripe around the edge(black car, red pinstripe on the beltline)....also saw some old 86-87 Dodge Lebaron GTS wheels, aluminum with round holes, 15 inch, 5 lug...gotta see if the bolt and offset pattern would work. Something different.
