Default looking for a good tire

i have a 2005 pt cruiser had goodyears on it when i bought it with 18000 miles on them . Put a new set of goodyears on it before last winter because the wife drives it . Almost winter again and about 10000 miles later and the tires dont look real great . Any thoughts on a good tire to put on her car .

Hi,

I'm new around here and by no means am I an Automotive expert.
That being said, I do know that good tire pressure, rotating your wheels every other oil change, and a good front alignment will add many miles to you tires. Having owned a few cars and trucks in my 48 years on the planet has taught me something.

Good luck

Van

You don't say which PT, but If you don't have a GT, I'd recommend Michelin Hydroedge - great wear, great grip - better in wet than the good-for-a years in the dry.
Got them at Sears.
Reason I exclude GT is GTs have 17" wheels, and for some reason, Michelin doesn't offer them in 17".

I'll throw in a vote for the Continental Extreme Contacts.
Great grip in all weather.

Reasonable price.
