Default Exel wheels....?'s

I am considering a set of Exel wheels, I like the style, and the picture on the site but, they list the finish as a "hyper light".... Can anyone please tell me if this is a natural aluminum finish, or some crappy painted finish that will peel off in a few months....? Does anyone have these wheels, and how do you like them?

Thumbs down Re: Exel wheels....?'s

The site says..."Finish: HyperLight"!
Most truthful wheel sites would either say chrome surfaced, polished chrome, polish aluminum, etc.
Soooooo.........doesn't sound good. And the price???
You get what you pay for.

Check out the "tirerack" site.

I think the price is ok..... but, you are right.... sounds like they are hiding something with that finish name. Hyperlight or not, I still like that wheel.... it's either going to be that, or the eagle alloy series 192, I had originally considered smoothies but after reading about the problems some guys had here with ordering them, i will stick with regular old aluminum FWD rims.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING EXCEL!!!! I JUST BOUGHT THEM...had them on for about 2-3 months....ALL of the rims are BENT...it was NOT a manufacturer defect...they are JUST JUNK!.... I got them from WHEELMAX.com look at RIPOFFS.com

there are TONS of people that talk about that site and the HORRIBLE product... HORROR stories about rims SHATTERING etc.... STAY AWAY from them!!!!

oh did I mention to NOT BUY THEM? seriously spend MORE money and get REAL rims that are NOT JUNK!
