knocking noise from rear
I was driving home from work today and all of a sudden there was a knocking noise that seemed to be coming from the rear suspension whenever I went over any bumps. I stopped the car and looked underneath but as far as I can tell, nothing looks out of place.

I did a search and found out about the possible loose bolts on the sway bar. I just got my pt a few days ago so I guess I'll just take it back to the dealer.

 .You might also check the gas tank vent tube, they some times come loose. Good luck!!

...or the exhaust pipe as it goes over the rear axle. Maybe one of the hangers came loose.

And check the spare tire is good and tight....

The spare was hanging down way too far when I got it, so I tightened that up previous to this new noise. Anyway I put it up on some ramps and sure enough, the sway bar was lose on the driver's side. I tightened that up and no more noise.
