I have a 2001 PT Limited with standard 16" x 7" chrome wheels. Will it fit 225x50x16 tires? And since it's only 7" wide wheels will the tires be sticking way out past the rims? I don't care for that look myself.

I think you will find that the wheels are 16x6. A 6" rim is the minimum recommended width for a 6" rim. They should fit, I have 215/50-17's on my PT and they fit the car fine. This size is about an inch taller.

Thanks! I hope they do fit. I want bigger tires than the standard tires.
