im having way too much confusion on this matter i just bought 18x7.5 wheels with 42" offset, DISCOUNT TIRE told me to go with 235/40/18 and tire kingdom told me that was bad idea, i know i can do 225/40/18 no problem but i want to make sure if i can use 235/40/18 on my pt with no rubbing problems cause that is what i want to buy. Please anyone running a pt with those???? i have a 2006 pt cruiser base no mods. PLEASE ADVISE THANK YOU

U should just get the 225 series, it no huge difference anyway. 225 is perfect from personal experience and thats recommended everywhere. If you dont know what tires to get also, i recommend TOYO proxes 4 tires.
