I have a 05' vert and have been told that I have a front wheel bearing with too much play.
I plan to replace both front bearings and possibly the front suspension bushings. I have two questions is there a recommended aftermarket brand for these? (I know that OEM are junk) and second should I change all of the bushings at once VS just the fronts?

let me tell you if you are doing the bushings on your own they are not easy. set aside a whole day. the hard part is fitting them into their place. i know mechanics use a pressurized machine. we managed to get them in by using a slightly wider hollow 2 inch pipe that fit around the rim of the bushing and acted as a middle man then hammered the pipe, pushing the bushing into place. hope that makes sense

Hey if you go to harbor freight and spend 29 dollars on a ball joint press, it looks similar to a big "C" clamp it works great for pressing in and out the bushings good luck. copy and paste the link in you tool bar
I have this tool and have abused it to no end it is a quality product ![]() Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices I also think that if the wheel bearings were that worn out that they would be making a growling noise |
