Default 18x9.5 265/35/18

I just ordered a set of BTG springs and getting ready to order a set of wheels in this size,

Front: 18x8.5 with 235/40/18 tires
Rear: 18x9.5 with 265/35/18 tires

I want to keep the oldschool rake and looks of the wider rear tire. What do you think? I have not found the backspacing info yet on the wheels, they are Zenetti Five Chrome's, A nice spoke style. BTG will lower the rear 1.5" but I think there is still plenty of clearance for the 9.5" wide wheel. I will be leaving the bump stop at its full length also. Only issue I see is if the rear tire sticks out of the fender to much, it will spray water while on wet roads.

I hope you are right. That's awful wide, especially the front.

On the fronts, my thoughts are, if people can run 235/40/18's that is a 9.25" wide tire. Rather they be sitting on 7.5-8.5" wide rims, it would not matter because the rim will still be less wide than the tire. Again, that mkes me assume there should be no hard wheel lock or fender rubbing change. Hmmm... please advise if I am completely wrong. Buying wheels and tires online is something you don't want to mess up.

Argh.. I am tired of shopping for wheels on all these websites. They are always listing wheels as if they fit a PT, but when I call the manufacturer, they say they do not make them in the 5x100 patern, it is too small. I ahve almost ordered 4 diferent sets of wheels, good thing I called the manufacturer each time first.

I ended up getting the cheap Sport Edition KV5 chrome 5 spoke that is sold by TireRack and TireKingdom. Why could we not have 5x114 bolt patterns. I'll post pictures after I install along with new springs this weekend.
