Personally, I wouldn't go with either one. Pirellis are overpriced IMO .... plus I've got a taboo after totalling two cars with brand new Pirellis. But you're paying extra money because they're 'Italian' tires. Whoopty-doo! They're not made in Italy. And their engineering on thier tires that don't go into Lamborgninis is sub-par. Their standard road tires have less-than-standard grip and noise compared to cheaper brands.
Michelins are also overpriced for what you get. $120-$200 for a standard passenger car tire? Are you fraking kidding me? Hell no. And though the lure of 'high milage' tiresmay seem great, no amount of alchemy will change one fact of 'high milage' tires, which is that they have less traction. I also wouldn't buy Fuzions from personal experience. Rain and snow performance are non-existant. Look into Falken 912 or Yokohama Avid or Yok S.Drive. Maybe a Kumho Ecsta ASX. All should be reasonably inexpensive, with pretty quiet and comfortable drive, with good traction when you need to call on them. |

Road Hazard is always safe to have, what is it like $6/tire??!
I had 2 bumps in my tires and I got new ones free of charge. So $12 got me brand new tires .

Before going to the tire store, I'd price out what you want on the internet and make your local tire store pricematch the internet price. There is ALOT of markup in tires. Pretty much every tire place except Walmart will negotiate tire prices to outdo a competitor and sell some tires. |
