OP means Original Poster, but hey, I like the sound of that paint scheme!

Interesting....I think wheels and tires are a very subjective thing and probably one of the more individual taste items that we put onto our cars. I'm kinda old school, I like chrome, 5 spoke wheels, always have and always will. I'm not a fan of black or gun metal etc...but that's just me. As far as the size is concerned, I personally don't like "rubber band" tires, I like some sidewall both for looks and for ride. But once again that's just me. My 'Vert has 225x50xR16 Toyo Proxe 4 High Performance tires on 16 x 7 American Eagle wheels. You know as they say different strokes for different folks.

Regards
Terry

I like that idea also. I am toying w/the idea of top halfing my Rt. 66 w/ Cadillac pearl white ta get that old school street rod look. I want ta leave the bottom half from the belt line down the original yellow, and paint the hood and roof from the beltline up the pearl white. I just can't decide if I wanna go the extra mile and have the door jams halfed also, or leave them all yellow? Any suggestions on the scheme, what colors of pinstripe ta put between the two colors and on the door jam dillema?

The design of the wheel doesnt look good and wouldnt look right on a PT. Im not against big wheels tho... The bigger the better. A 20" rim fills up the wheel well pretty good...and 18s do too especially in the front....IMO

And bigger wheels are coming on more and more new cars n Trucks from the factory most likely as an option...The rim size 20" is not even "BIG" any more... So its not so much of a "Pimp" thing, but its more of the fact of how good the car looks with those larger wheels rather than smaller ones...
