I want to lower the rear of my PT like many others have done and I was just wondering if you need any specialty tools to do it or could I do it myself at home? It looks like it wouldn't be too difficult but I want to make sure before I buy the springs. thx

its real easy. block up the front tires, then jack up the rear by the axle. place jack stands under a sturdy part of the body not attached tot he rear swing arm. disconnect the upper mounts of the rear shocks, then slowly lower the jack until you can wiggle the springs out. swap the isolators ontot he new springs and instal is the reverse of removal. took me less than 20 minutes from start to finish. love the new look.

I noticed in your sig you have an 02, so you'll also have to disconnect your rear sway bar if you have one!

Funny, I had to JUMP on the axle to get it to drop from the car..... even with the shock unbolted from the top.
I also disconnected the sway bar i believe. -DJ

Not a hard job, I did mine too. No issues at all. Just follow the advice the people before me gave and you'll be good.
