Cool Front Axles

2004 PT BASE 2.4 AUTO 29870 miles. Wrote CREWZIN last week told him about my front axles . The dealer replaced both axles, but not bearings and hubs. When they called first they said all was bad. I have factory leftover 7/70 powertrain 100.00 deduct. All they end up replacing was the axles then told that the hubs and bearings were ok. Said bearings and hubs not covered under factory powertrain warranty. Thanks for this site very helpful the best thanks to all. Hoppy

Default Re: Front Axles

So, everything was bad, when you were going to pay for it and since you had the warranty, now only the axles were bad. Proof that they'll try and sell as many parts as possible, but I guess we all knew that. Glad it all worked out.
