Default Do Tokico shocks and struts work with OEM coils or are too short?

Hi,

I'm just wondering if I can use Tokico shocks and struts without doing a lower kit. As much as I would like to lower my car for the added handling, it's not practical as I drive gravel roads that are awful in summer, and you don't even want to think about them during winter! Ground clearence is not an option...

What I need to know is if the Tokico shocks and struts are the same length as the OEM ones and not shorter. If they are shorter the ride height of the car will be limited by the shock/strut. This will result in a jarring motion when reaching the top of the suspension cycle as well as being very hard on the shock/strut. (My Dynasty did this with KYB's in the rear.)

Has anyone ran these shocks/struts with OEM coils and was the suspension able to cycle normally?

My OEM struts are shot now and I think that even the increased dampening will help with handling without lowering the car, as well as being able to soak up larger bumps without bottoming.

Ben

Every 3rd party replacement shocks&struts for a specified car have the same lenght.

As long as it's not a clearly named "lowering kit" model, it's ok.
