I am looking for some info or advice from you gurus. My new to me 02' Pt has a bad bellcrank bushing. My questions is should I buy a bushing kit(and does this include the bushing for the bellcrank) or a new bell crank and install that? This is a grocery getter so I do not need the improved handling just want to do whatever is gong to be easiest and most cost effective. And where is the best place to but these items?

There is no bushing in the bellcrank. Just replace it. The part number recently changed yet again. They keep re-designing the part to try to make them last longer. I change them by the dozens.

I read that you need a special tool to remove one of the struts from the bell crank. Is this true or can it be done without? I also read that the pt needs to be on an alignment rack to properly torque the bolts down. If I have the rear of the car on ramps would this work? Any help would be appreciated.
