Too much rear body roll.

I don't know if this topic has been covered before; I have an '04 Pt Cruiser with 75k on it and the body roll has become very noticeable. The rear shocks look like factory stock with no sign of leakage. There is very little rebound if you push down on the bumper.
On one segment of HorsepowerTV showed an installation of a airbag setup on a late model sedan between brake housings and differential. Would it be possible to do the same by equally spacing the airbag assemblies on the beam axle and bottom of the body pan.
Or would changing out the shocks to some specialty shocks that would reduce the body roll?

Air bags and new shocks could both be a possibility. Air bags, done by a number of the members on this forum, will cost in the neighborhood of 10 times the amount of new shocks so unless you have the cash to put out, I'd go for the new shocks. They are easy to put in yourself. Now if your looking for the lowered look that can be adjusted at will, the bags will certainly be the way to go.

Get a rear sway bar. An airbag setup will run you around $1,000.
