I'm assuming that since you linked to a UK auction, you're from there. I'm not familiar with Mintex brakes (never head of them in fact) but buy the best brakes you can afford. Why put your life and others at risk to save a couple bucks? Over here, Raybestos and Wagner offer quality stock replacements. Replacement pads are $25 and go up from there depending on what kind of pad you want. Rotors are $28/ea and up. That's quoted from one of the cheapest online parts stores so expect to pay a little more in store. Going by price alone, those ones you linked to should hopefully be a good set if they're charging that much. £80 = ~$135 US.

I don't go cheap on tires or brakes....
I've bought from NAPA and TireRack - both have more than one price offering - I went top of line with NAPA and was very pleased with results - TireRack had Brembo disks and prices were good.

Depends on what you want..I autocrossed mine with the factory pads (4 wheel disc) ABS turned off and they worked fine..If you want Bling spend what ever you want to. I just replaced my pads on both ends with stock equiv. and I'm happy , but I'm not running hard on the track or the mountains...Super high performance pads need to be warmed up for them to work right..I'd hate to try to miss a kid running out in front of me with cold brakes on my car if I were running race pads on the street...

Using Mintex pads on my Miata right now. No noise, light dust and they seem to be easy on the disks. I haven't tracked the car with them yet but in rather aggressive mountain driving, they have not faded. Overall I am quite satisfied.
