How about MSR 087 BSF 20x7.5 on 225/30ZR-20 combined with a B&G S2K sport suspension kit that drops the car 1.25" all around. Suggestions?

Hey their pteezer129,
Ok, Most manufacturers will go all the way up to 19" mainly because you can amazingly still add a skinny tire and somehow manage to still stay within the stock specs. That pretty much means you don't have to go screwing with your spectrometer. Now, once you go to 20"s, then that will throw your calibration off. I do know of a few people who have done 20"s at stock height without any issues, but with the slight drop, I want to say you should be ok but am not 100% sure of that. The back should be no problem, but the front may not quite clear the inner fender well without rubbing while turning the wheels. Remember you also have to take into account that your drop springs would eventually settle a bit as well which also could add problems if your not prepared in advance clearance wise. Another thing you may run into is, a while back I wanted to try to do a staggered set of 19"s in front and 20"s in back, and even though several sets may have the bolt pattern, the offset apparently just won't fit right on most of them. I actually checked 14 shops from around my area to Los Angeles, and then even sent a couple of inquiries Internet Sites like Tire Rack.com, and got the same response. Out of 10 sets with the right lug pattern found 7 were discontinued, 2 were the wrong offset and would not fit, an only one set I found would. I want to say they were American Racing, but can't seem to find the slip at the moment to tell you for sure. The other alternative would be to have them made to spec which can be done on any wheels but will cost more to produce. For example, you picked out a set of billet wheels from Foose Design, Jesse James,, or KMC, and so on, then you call them and order to spec. They will then cut you a one off set for your ride on their C&C Machine at, last I remember was somewhere around $5200.00 which is expensive, but not bad considering that it takes upwards of 4-5 days depending on design to cut each wheel, and then you would have the only set in existence. That is if you wanted to go with 20's. Liek I say, 18"s to19" are not nearly as much problem. Just that extra 1" screws up the works I recon. Let me know again if you have any more ideas to kick around a bit and I will try to help out, and give you an honest opinion on them. Candyman

See thats the problem, the MSR 087 BSF's only come in 20, I looked every where else to find smaller and had no luck. If I'm going with that big a wheel, I can live without the drop. The cruiser has that electronic speedo, it should be a simple computer mod. And the offset is 40mm, the same as the 16's I'm rollin on now. I have to admit it is a real sweet wheel.

Hey their pteezer129,
Ok, as long as they have the lug pattern, correct spacing, and so on, and you don't want to drop it, then in theory you should hopefully be good to go. If you would like, I can give a friend of mine at KMC Wheels and ask him on it just to confirm it will work without any problems before hand just to make double sure, but that is up to you. Other than that, I hope it comes together and you find something you really like! As always, you know I will be wanting some pics posted to check the new shoes out whenever you get them on! ![]() Go easy, and let me know if you want me to double check, or your good to go. Candyman

If you wouldn't mind asking your friend that would be extremly helpful. Not that I spent 2 grand on wheels and tires and then they don't fit.
Thanks for all the help. You seriously have an awesome ride.

Hey their pteezer129,
I shot my guy over a message but he was out of town for the weekend, so I expect to hear from him some time Monday and then I'll let you know what he says. Just didn't want you to think I forgot about it. Go easy, Candyman
