Default Other tire sizes on the GT cruiser

Before I ask, I did the search and really didn't get the answer I wanted. I have an 06 GT. The stock tire size is 205 50 17. Question, what other sizes will fit on the stock wheel, without any major problems?

225 on the stock rim is bad imho... Also 45 high will change the speedo, it did mine.

Why is it a bad idea? Aside from the speedo issue is there any rubbing while turning or bumps? This is also on the the stock GT wheel correct? thanks

The width of the stock rim is too narrow. I would be afraid of rolling the tire off of the rim. I have 7.5" wide aftermarket rims and no problem with the 225.
