Default Front Hub/Bearing Replacement

I've got to replace the front bearing on the left side of the car.

I found a bearing assembly and then at I found a hub with bearings, but I'm not sure if it's assembled or not.

Can the front hub be removed from the car without having to break the entire front suspension down? It's cold where I live and I've never taken the control arms or struts out of a front wheel drive car before. if I don't need to, that would be a huge bonus.
