Question 18x9 +20?

No, it ain't a Math title (182)

I'm just curious if 18x9 wheels with a +20 Offset will fit the rears.

I do understand that it'll be sticking out past the fenders but will it just outright work?
If so, what are the pros and cons mechanical-wise?
