Default Bellcrank - rear axle

I have a 2001 Cruiser. The bellcrank on the rear axle is loose (this can be moved by hand with all four tires on the ground). This has been a source of a rattle coming from the rear for some time now. Is there supposed to be rubber or bushing material between the bellcrank and the mounting post on the axle or does this just need tightening?

XWING777 is right, I just replaced this using a dealer part. The bell crank only, not the linkages. Thos bushings were ok. It's not hard to replace, I found it easier to raise the rear on ramps to allow slak in the watts linkage for easier maneuvering. The watts linkages are pressed into the bellcrank, same as a tie rod end so a tie rod removing tool makes this easy.
I plan to take the old one apart to find out "what's inside".

What does rattle sound like? I have one I can't find - from rear, sounds like light-gauge metal titting - like if license plate was flapping....
Any other symptoms? Car handle well?

quicksilverdon, This noise was a heavy metal clanking noise with any rear suspension movement. This was only discovered while the car was on the ground - no jacks or raised at all. When the car was raised by the body the bellcrank "slop" was tightened up and would not move.
For yours, check the fuel fill line and spare tire set up. Or quite possibly something stashed (toools, coke cans, etc) in one of the side rear comparments (made that mistake once).

I also changesd out my watts-link on my new Woody today. It took under 2hours. I also had a loud clunk when I hit a bump. You can tell by looking at the center of the rear axle where its located. Have someone push the PT side to side you can see if the Watts link wobbble and clunk if its bad.

I posted Watts link or Bellcrank removal and how to do it on a thread. There is no rubber bushing between the bellcrank and mounting post. The long bolt goes through the watts link through the shaft with no bushing and attaches with a nut and washer.
