Question Tire alternatives? - PT GT w Pirelli P6's

Plz help me figure out a new tire model to buy!

I have a 2003 PT GT with 17" low profile tires and live in the country so drive (slowly) on gravel roads for at least 2 miles any time I leave the house. Need an alternative to the Pirelli P205/50R 17 90H M+S four season tires, which are extremely hard to find here (near Kansas City). I was just told those tires were discontinued but can't even find the replacement "plus" version. Had a flat yesterday (again) so have my donut on til I can find a tire. Thank goodness I can work from my home office or I'd be even more frantic.

I just need something good quality that fits and is not more expensive than the P6 ($120-135 in this area) - don't care about anything fancy but want good quality, four season tire.

Suggestions?

Go to Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels and see what tires they have that will fit your PT. You can go by price or just check the whole list. They'll ship right to your door for a reasonable price.

Thanks for the fast reply!

I am supposed to be driving about 4 hrs to a client site this weekend so hoping to find a tire that is stocked locally.

The place I take our other vehicles for tires has only 1 tire that size.
Sonar SX-1 EVO, 205/50R17 93(XL) V for $89 ea

Although I don't see any reviews of that tire brand, I'm going to give that a try. None of the other nearby tire shops carry any 17" low profiles in stock and I really need to make that trip this weekend. I'm going to get 2 and put them on front... fingers crossed they are good tires.

Thanks again for your reply! You are Da Best!

Those Sonar's sound and look like a good tire and the price is better than some of the sites I looked at saying they are discount sellers. There's no reviews that I could find.

I have thems on my pt and I like thems, can't tell for driving on dirt but on wet or dry tarmac the grip is good, and they don't seem to wear too quickly, I have 2-3000km on them and I don't see any noticable wear, and I tend to turn the curves at good speeds

maybe they are not very high quality tires, but for that price they are pretty good tires for most drivers

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I did get the Sonars today. They are more rounded on the edges and seem to have more shallow tread than the Pirellis but they were much less expensive and specs were the same or better. Time will tell how they last...
