I take it your looking for the cheapest since you only listed those. A lot of us went with Tokico shocks and struts and, if your shocks need replacing, aren't the struts due for a change also?

Thanks CREWZIN.
Yes, I tend to look for price but actually I am looking to improve the "bottoming" that is so common with my PT Cruizer. The shocks are not leaking and seem to bee working fine.
I just changed the Joust Bompers which were rotted out but, ofcourse, that doesn't help the ride.

Can you recommend a pair of shocks that will helps with the rear bottoming out?

I ran a set of Monroe rear shocks before I replaced mine with Tokicos when I lowered the car. They felt fine. Never had bottoming out issues.

I only had the Monroe shocks for about a week, and I actually still have them sitting in my closet.. haha.

Since you both live in FL, maybe you could sell your overstock to him...

Didn't even think of that. I'd be more than happy to. I could use the closet space in my 1bed/1bath apartment. Hahaha

I have Monroe and I feel they could be a bit tighter.. I don't know about gabriel but I think they are supposed to be of reasonable quality.. But I have read in some forums that Gabriels are too stiff and will give a very harsh ride with the lowered springs.. feeling the bumps on the street.
