Default Shocks please

Heyo,

I am looking to replace my factory shocks. I have a super fancy "clunking" noise in the back of my car and my dealer will not hunt it down further until I replace my shocks (I think they said struts? who knows , I should probably get both). I already have the Eibach lowering kit on (bye bye warranty for my shocks) and am looking for a solid performance shock to go with my springs. The driver rear shock(or strut) is all leaked out and crap. My dealer is suggesting a "shorter" shock to go with the lowering kit I am running. Then again it takes them 1.5 hours to do an oil change with an appointment.

So any input from all you PT'rs would be dandy.

Koni? KYB? Tokico?

Thanks in advance.

Scott

Hey Scott,

There's a review posted on the home page about the KONI's. It may help with your decision (at least I HOPE it does).

I'd recommend them. But then, I'm a little partial.

I've got the KYB Gas-A-Just and KYB GR-2 and am very pleased with them.
