Don't use all capital letters on the internet. It's like shouting.

What year and how many miles on your wife's PT?

I put Michelin Harmony (Passenger All-Season) tires on my 06 limited (stock) and I like them alot. Took it to Road Atlanta from Ohio and they gave a nice ride and good handling in both dry and wet weather!

I would have to defer to someone with more car knowledge than me on how to check those items.

All the aftermarket springs that I know of are made to drop the PT, which is totally not what you would want. Are you referring to buying a set of stock springs that have low miles on them? I've got a set of stock springs for sale that have < 14,000 miles on the rear springs and < 16,000 miles on the front springs.

I would think changing out the shocks and struts will help, but not sure if the aftermarket ones were mad for lowered PTs. Tokico is a favorite here and KYBs have been mentioned but I haven't really heard feedback about them. Maggie at Chrysler PT Cruiser Parts and Accessories by Race and Street sells the KYBs for a pretty good price and she's running a 10% off special at this very moment!
