Default I want to paint my stock rims.

So the more and more i mod my car the more i want rims. but i like the rims i have that came with the touring 07 model. i want to have them like a gun metal gray but one of the colors i found is graphite from Dupli-color Wheel coating. do you think graphite would be the color i'm looking for or would there be another color/company out there that makes the color i want.
Candyman this one is mainly for your, but Chrome, i know you have really good advice too.

There's a full write-up (sticky) on a few forums such as Dodge forums and SRTForums.

A quick google search will suffice.

I'm going to have to do this soon myself, since I'm picking up some SRT4 rims in the beginning of March. Original owner painted them black but they've flaked off a bit so I plan on tackling the set of 4 and completely redoing them.

Wonder how much I'll get off of selling my 17" GT wheels.

Not a problem. Did the search myself earlier today after getting off the phone with someone from the SRTForums deciding I'd take his rims. I plan on making my car completely black, starting by getting rid of my chrome. After I swap my wheels, I'm going to look at getting the door handles painted/coated in a flat black to better match both the SRT rims and the flat black Turbo (Porsche version) emblem that's on my rear hatch.

As for my rims, I think I've seen them go for about $250 a set. They're expensive as a new rim because it's an OEM part. Used though, they don't go for too much $$$. Fortunately, even though mine are +7yrs old they don't leak any air or have any dents whatsoever.

No tires, just the rims.

I just bought tires today (they'll get here in 2-3 days) from a local discount tire shop. They're Hancook Evo's. Nice, highly regarded sticky tire for the money. I would've gone wider (215's) but the price difference was +60 bucks per tire.

Right now I've got Kumho's that I'm beating to the ground.

Here's my rim+tire

Generally, I take better pictures but I just uploaded this one from my phone hence the crappy quality. Oh and yes, the tires have plenty of thread left on them but I think I'll wear them down and have some fun before getting the Evo's installed.

Just uploaded another pic from my phone, to show you how the decal looks. Like I said, flat black so I want the rims+door handles to be flat as well.

PS Used Photobucket to distort my license plate for security purposes

tho's evo's are freaking nice. but i'd rather have Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season, i don't know why but i just do. but they kinda look the same. but if i had to choose from the both of them, i think i'd go for the cheaper one. lol

I'll snap pictures of the Evo's on my car, don't worry

Afterward, I'll get some pics of the Evo's on the SRT rims once I get those on my car
