Default 17" to 16" rims fit ???

Can I use 16 inch OEM wheels to replace the 17 inch wheels on the GT" Is the offset and bolt circle the same? Thanks eddie[:I]

I don't have a GT but I believe you have to have 17 inch rims to clear the brake calipers.

nope i got 16" crappy tire winter rims, they fit the GT no problems....

Thanks Punch, I wasn't sure. Looked on Tire Rack and they only list 17 inch and taller for the GT.

Flashbk2 had some really nice looking 16" aftermarket wheels on his GT. He took them off of his '01 I think?[:I] I think he said the offset was around 42. Maybe he'll chime in here later [^]

I am using 16" painted Dream Cruiser 1 wheels for the winter. They clear the GT's brakes with NO problems.

I am using the same wheels as electric blue and I believe that LAF is using these wheels also with no clearence issues with the front calipers...
