Lower control arm bolt

Default Lower control arm bolt

Tried to change lower control arms today .but cant get the bolt off . the one that goes thru the bushing . I sprayed with pb blaster the night before dont want to break off bolt . Has anyone else have trouble , would heating bolt be next thing to do .

I used a long breaker bar and work each bolt back and forth but make sure you don't break it

Put a breaker bar on it. That bolt is torqued down pretty tight and it's a pretty large diameter bolt...

Yup, I would not use an impact gun on it.
It took me a couple of tries and then I put a small pipe on the end of the breaker bar.
Its amazing how a little more leverage will help you.
Once it starts it should come out quite easy.
