Question Bad Spindal

I need some help, just found out that my driver side spindal is out of round. I have a 2005 GT Turbo H.O. Automatic. What i would like to know can a spindal from any other PT Cruiser fit and work with no problems? PLEASE HELP with this. Thanx
Found this out due to me replacing the driver side bearing 2 times, the second time, just pushed the bearing by hand no press used.

There's a spindle in rear, in front, I'm assuming you're referring to the 'hub'?

There's no spindle in front.

You mean the knuckle, which holds the bearing and has steering arm cast in? Ball joint and strut bosses?

I didn't realize the knuckle could even get out of 'round'... but there are a ton of them (used) for sale on Ebay: 03 04 05 06 07 PT CRUISER L. FRT SPINDLE/KNUCKLE on eBay!

About the only thing that goes wrong (because brake abutments bolt on)
is bearing spinning in steering knuckle's race.
Obviously, anything can break / bend in an accident.

You could see if someone would braze it up. It's been done.

It could just be the hub that is bent. Curbing it could have caused it, trying to beat it out to change a bearing (rather then press it out) can cause it (don't ask how I know this).

It is unlikely that the knuckle is the culprit. But as posted above, there are plenty on ebay if it is. A hub can be purchased at your local auto store.

Really! Yikes!!

I pound these out ~ 2x month for use on Neons. They use early PT hubs so they can fit larger spline axles- Won't break @ dragstrip.

I have a tool special made for the purpose. (center pic)

Seems, if I understand correctly, his hub is bad but also the steer knuckle.

I have used early hubs if anyone has need. Later models no so much.
