In 1978 I wanted to lower my Honda, instead of paying someone else to do it I used the money to buy a set of spring compressors, they've more than paid for themselves!

Hey JaxPT, What kind of springs did you get? what was the company? I am looking to get some and I see a very wide range of prices like $250 for Eibach and only $140 for BTG. I am not an expert at this and am looking for some more advice on the better of the springs. Thanks,

Mine are progress springs. Bought the set from Kevin on the forum. I think they go for around $175 new. I still havent gotten around to putting em on though, everytime i get a day off it's either raining, cold, or something else comes up.

thers pretty many who have drop springs and could advise you on all the different pro's and con's of each

Rears are really easy - I supported rear axle with a piece of 2x6 between axle & floor jack to avoid bending axle.

Can you tell me what the torque specs for the sway bar are?

Sorry - I don't remember touching the sway bar, just unbolted the rear shocks. Jacked up with floor jack & 2x6 on rear axle, put body on jackstands, dropped rear axle, unbolted shocks, pulled off old springs,...[:I]
