Default 274mm Inner Tie Rod?

I am doing tie rods on a 2001 PT for a friend of my wife's. I looked up parts and both Autozone and Rock Auto list inner tie rods with no length measurements, or one specifically called out at 274mm long. How do I know which one to get? Is there something on the car I can look at to determine?

Looks like RockAuto is differentiating between a 'Firm feel' and standard.
'Firm feel' has always been installed on performance packages (such as
Neon ACR that also shares this chassis in part)
Obviously, some nut could order firm feel on their standard Cruiser, but that's unlikely.

I'd order the Moog and be done with it. I've purchased several inners thru Amazon, believe it or not, they have better price and cheaper shipping.

Are the inner tie rod ends a difficult job? Does it require a special tool? Im picking up the parts in the morning to do my inners and outers. My outers are totally shot and the inners are going bad too.

Get with compdr59, I just sent him my inner tie rod tool to use. Maybe you guys can get both done together, then split the shipping costs to get the tool back to me...

I just picked up my parts this morning. I am planning on doing the work in few hours. Im hoping I can get the inners off without the special tool.

When doing the inners how do you get the rubber boot off without ruining it. My new inners did not come with new rubber boots.

It doesnt look like this job can be done without the special tool. There is no room to get anything on the end at the rack to loosen the inners.
