Default Stratus 5-spokes on the PT?

Does anyone know for certain that these wheels will or won't fit on a standard 2006 PT Touring?

Refinished Dodge Stratus 2001-2002 16 inch Wheel, Rim | eBay

I've seen the slotted Cirrus 5-spokes on a PT, and the bolt patterns are the same, but this page on eBay has a reference that states that these wheels won't fit the PT Cruiser. And I really want to put them on my car - they're just the right style and spoke-width to satisfy my taste (most of the affordable (<$150) aftermarket wheels have little skinny spokes, and I want something more robust-looking).

Thanks!

whether they fit or not you can get wheel spacers that change the bolt pattern to make them fit

Yeah, but that would also change the offset and put the wheels farther out; I'm looking for a straight bolt-in.

I don't get it... 5 x 100, 44 offset, 16 x 6.5? Why would this not fit???????? PT stockers in 16" are 5x100 with an offset of 38, so while 44 may have them out a bit, they aren't that much out.

Anybody else want to comment??? I have 17x7's, 5x100, 40 offset and no issues with my big fat tires on them!

Yeah, I would think they'd fit just the same as the Cirrus (and actually, I should've said, "Sebring convertible" ) wheels. Most likely it's a flaw in the database, but I hoped maybe someone here had actually done it, before I go out and buy one to test .

Don't forget those wheels don't come with center cap...so you'll need to buy them separately but they have a Dodge logo

Yeah, I saw that; I wouldn't mind the Dodge ram that much - I could probably find a way to fill it and replace it with a Chrysler 'ribbon'. Or just paint that center cavity a contrasting color, and use a nice, neat dust cap.

That's true...btw, don't you like the "empire wheels" ? I'll be selling a set soon (I was going to put them on my wife but I changed my mind)..
They look like that..

Actually I've always liked the Empire wheels' design, but they're out of my price range - changing the wheels I have is a "nice to have" thing (esp. since I just paid the car off! ), but not a "have to have" thing, and I also want to stick to something a little more old-school - since the PT is kind of chunky, I want wheels that are also a little chunky, and not so large that the tires are really low-profile, so 16" & 50-series is my upper limit. (If I could find them cheap, I'd love to have Salt Flats wheels - I just can't justify spending $200 per wheel; I'd rather put that money under the hood and into a nice new paint job ). I'm a little dismayed that, mostly because of eBay, it's almost impossible to find factory wheels for less than aftermarket ones any more.

I have to admit, though, I'm a little scared of how you might put those wheels on your wife! ("And if my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a trolley car!" -Engineer Scott, Star Trek )
