Default 16" steel wheels

Where can I find regular old style steel wheels in 16" that will fit the PT Cruiser?

VWs are probably the only ones I know that have 16" steelies in 5x100. Don't know particularly which model.

I have 16 inch VW steels on my car at the moment, from a VW New Beetle. 5x100 stud pattern, 57.1mm centre bore (PT's are 57mm) and the offset is 2mm out.

I like the look of the VW wheels on your Cruiser. I will look for some at the local salvage. I want to put the full chrome moon covers on mine (at least I think so right now) but would not be opposed to Inferno Red with the center caps like yours.

Get some 16 inch Port-a-walls and some 16 inch ribbed trim rings from hubcap mike and it will look sweet!

I like the look. What center caps are you using?
What springs did you use & what amount of drop?

Thanks ... eddielives

The hub caps are pre-1966 VW smooth caps (beetle and bus), I also have a set of VW stamped caps that I use for day to day driving as you can see in some of my pics. I have produced an instruction sheet as to how to fit them to either 15 inch PT wheels or 16 inch VW Bora/Jetta wheels if you need it.

My car is lowered on coilovers and sits about 3 inches lower than standard at the front. The rears are Eibach Pro Kit springs with FK Silverline shocks, lowered about 1.5 inches.
