well, had my car checked at a local transmission shop. Guy said the torque converter is shot! 1,800 repair! Guess I will get it fixed instead of a large monthy car payment! Anyway, cv joint has been replaced as well as motor mounts. This car should last me a lil while now.......

Yeah the price included a total rebuild. I didnt want to go back in again and replace seals, selenoids, etc if it was to happen. I hope this is the only time I have to open up this trans.

Have you checked your fluid level? Seem low mileage for a failure. Seen twice that no issues before. Also might get a low milage used one and shipping (if appliable) for way fess than that. Installation can vary.

Solenoids are not part of the usually replaced parts in a rebuild. Clutches, seal, gaskets and in your case tork converter.
