Correct Tire size

I did the difference once and it was with a 8inch rim and 235-40-17 and a 235-45-17 tires and the diff was not enough to have an effect on the speedo.. Here is the tool I use to figure this stuff out.. I went with the 235-45-17 just to have that extra bit of sidewall..

Its from the Miata guys, they swap tires more than we change our socks..

I use this website below because it not only measures wheel and tire size but also width and offset of the wheel. But will the 215's rub or should I stick woth the 205's. If the 215's fit, I can get the 18x8's.

Not a chance in hell 215s will rub when you start getting to the 235s on a 40+offset then you start to worry about things like that.. Go with a 225 you will not be sorry it will just look "right".
