PT USA, welcome to the forum. I suggest you take a look at others Cruiser and see what looks good to you. If you could go to an event and check out what tires and wheels are on the PTs. Talk to the owners and see how they like their setup. Keep in mind, the larger the wheel, the more your ride quality is going to change.

Welcome, Steve. Follow IRPTs advice - the largest possible isn't best, and we can't tell you what you'd like (only your wife can do that).
Welcome, and ask away.

Pt USA,
Welcome.
Tire/Wheel size, very good question.
It depends on what look you want.
If you like the lowprofile look, (short sidewall and lots of wheel)
You need a large wheel, with a low profile tire.
If you like a large sidewall, and deeper looking wheel, you need a smaller wheel size and a larger profile tire.
You can go to sites like,
http://www.tirerack.com/
to check out the looks.

I like the deeper wheel and the larger sidewall myself.
