Default deeper profile tyres on rear ? help !!!!.

A BIG HELLO TO EVERYONE . Newbie here from good old sunny ( rainy) ENGLAND my pt is a 2 litre touring . Icurrently am running 18" wheels with 225/45 tyres all round . I am planning to put 235/60/18 tyres on the rear !!!! . Would i have any problems / issues with this combo ???. thanx in advance . steve . ps forum is awesome.

TPMS. That's quite a big stagger to use.

I guess no one has answered because nobody wants to put TRACTOR TRAILER tires on a PT Cruiser

Just curious, why would you want such a large tire (tyre) on the rear of a PT Cruiser.

Back when I was much younger and "knew everything", we used the larger tire on the rear for better traction as the cars were rear wheel drive.

just for the look!! . ive lowered loads of different cars and dont really want to go down that route . and hey remember , it would be a boring world if we were all the same ! . thanx steve .

In that case, if it's just for looks give it a shot and if it fits then it fits. Not to be rude but you first stated if there were gonna be any problems and I responded with TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor System) since your rear diameter is larger. Now you state it'll be just for looks.

Which is it? Unless you're talking about fitment purely. If so, like I said, give it a shot.

hi there 808 i didnt understand / know what TPMS meant ? as far as i am aware my car does not have this !! . yes it is purely for the looks . thanx for the replys . steve ,
