Default 75k suspension maint.

got a 02 that needs control arm bushings, but I want to work on the suspension once until 150k, and not every year. I've been reading in here and end up more confused. I don't want anything fancy, but I do want the 'best'.
I was thinking of ordering the set of bushings for everything since I have a good shop to press them out & in. I'm a little lost on what shocks/struts, new springs or not, and if moog ball joints are any good.
basically I want to put together a list for it all and put my pt on blocks once.
I have a diy mopar family, but my vocab is more electronic, so I need help with the planning stage. any help?

Moog for the ball joints and tie rods. I like the Energy Suspension poly bushings in black, you can get a complete kit for the PT. Probably get 100k plus out of that stuff... No need to replace springs unless you are looking to go lower. Any name brand shock/strut should be similar to stock...

For shocks and struts, KYB and Monroe seem to be fine replacements for stock. Tokico Blues are best used when lowering.

Note the poly bushings can squeak. They take a special lube for that.

That is why I like the ES black bushings, most of them are graphite impregnated to help keep them from squeaking. Also you need to use plenty of the lube.

Thanks Guys! just the info I was looking for. I guess the only remaining question would be about the bellcrank or whatever it's called. sounds like I'm better off replacing the whole part. I haven't noticed any clunking but it does wiggle pretty good by hand.

The Watts linkage and bell crank weren't making any noise in mine either but I did replace them and it tighten up the rear quite a bit. I also installed ES poly bushings in the linkage.
Rockauto.com probably has the best prices on those parts.
Bell crank part #905201
