Default Cheapie PT custom wheels

I have a '02 PT I've been building on a budget . As much as I love alloy wheels both stock & aftermarket I wanted something cheap & different - and if I could use the stock size tires so much the better .

I noticed the 2003 & up PT's have a steel wheel that is just like the old Aspen Supercoupe road wheel . With some spray paint and some 15" stainless trim rings from an old Dakota pickup I scrapped I think I did alright !

You could paint the rims silver which goes with anything , red or orange for a black car etc. I went with Rustoleum industrial yellow . I have an ad for light brown 1932 Chrysler with yellow wire wheels which gave me the inspiration .

I'll be adding more later about the center caps I'm going to use

Very nice! I have seen some owners who have used baby moons instead of those 5-holers for an ol' school, ol' timey, retro look.

I saw this PT and took a picture yesterday. Clean and simple.
