Default Need help with new wheels.

Hi !

I bought new set of wheels.
It`s 18x7.5 offset is 48.
Will it fit to the front with 10mm spacers !? Without spacers they don`t fit
And what tire size should i get ?!
My PT is -35mm koni sport kit.

It depends on the offset.

I have the same rim size, not sure about the offset, as u and I run
235 40's with no issues

So you are saying the wheel spokes are hitting the calipers even before you mount tires? How thick of a spacer depends on how much overlap there is.

The offset is pretty high. A set of 10mm hubcentric spacers "should" do it. But what exactly is preventing it from being mounted?? Can you post pics please so we may diagnose the problem?

Here's a comparison between a stock 205/50-17 and a 225/40-18 tire. Note that they are identical in every dimention but the sidewall. (And of course, a little more width.) This tire should just barely clear or need maybe a 3mm spacer at the most.

Specification-Sidewall-Radius-Diameter-Circumference-Revs/Mile-Difference
205/50-17.....4.0in.....12.5in.....25.1in...... 78.8in........ 804....... 0.0%
225/40-18.....3.5in.....12.5in.....25.1in...... 78.8in........ 804....... 0.1%

Thanks for the pics.

So it's not hitting the calipers nor touching the struts, and you said it's still not bolting on? How about the center bore? That's all I can think of at the moment. The PT's center bore is 57.1

With the tires on and on the moving I think it will be hitting the strut =((
