Default Will a PT with 15" wheels accept 16s?

My son has an '03 PTC, Touring Edition, I think. Base 15" steel wheels with hubcaps. I have the opportunity to pick up a full set of 16" Sport Edition (TireRack, I believe) wheels mounted with Blizzaks. Will they fit?

Long-time poster as MRL325i but for some reason my old login does not work.

Thanks!

Going to a 15 to 16 is no issue, just make sure the wheel/tire combo is correct

That's the correct tire size for 16s. You can go 17s with the correct tire size.

Did it on my 09. When I wear these tires out I want to go to 17's.

You also need the correct positive offset for the wheels. If you are buying the wheels from Tire Rack and they know it's for a Cruiser, you should be fine.

Yup.
I got a wheel and tire package from TireRack and the balancing was perfect - AND I got a $70 debit card from Michelin, and the price was low to begin with!

I went the other route 16's to 15's and they were pretty much identical increase in rim=decrease in tire size
