Default Energy Suspesion bushings or complete control arm ?

I 'm a bit puzzeled here...

My control arm bushings are worn. Since I 'm in Belgium I don 't have too many choices.

Choice 1: Energy Suspesion bushings.
Choice 2: complete (no brand) control arms with everything on it.
Choice 3: Moog bushings.

I know, from digging up info, that changing the complete control arm is the easiest way to go. I also know the Energy Suspesion are the most difficult to do (you have to re-use the metal sleeve inside the old bushing), so I guess Moog's are in-between

What do you guys consider the best way to go in long-term ?

I always recommend #2 to my customers/ It is cheaper in the long run for them! The other choices may be are harder to install on an old control arm with lots of miles acquired in an area that gets seasonal rain and/or snow.

If you are a DIY'r and have the time a patients choice #1 one may be the best overall choice?

And choice #3 the least expensive?

I tend to go for #2 and then refurbish the old control arms to have them ready for the ES bushings when the problem reaccurs

If the ball joint is worn that is also something to consider. Since I can do what's required to rebuild the arm I used the cheapest and rebuilt my arms. Ball joints and bushing.

I don 't know if the ball joint is worn, but the set I 'm referring to even has the steering nipples in it !

Yes the complete arm do have the ball joint to.
Over here it's still cheaper for me to rebuild them my self. I have a press, so 30 more minutes overall is cheaper on my wallet. But each has its own values.

Well, concerning the price:

Querlenker - Satz Vorderachse Chrysler PT Cruiser | eBay

155 euro, including shipping.

Energy supension would be 90 euro with shipping just for the bushings, no ball joints.

Moog would be the cheapest with 50 euro's without ball joints.

So I think the complete control arms are the best bang for the buck...

No point in leaving ball joint unless they had been recently done. Pricing is everything.

Not a bad price if someone can't or don't want to repair their's. Besides you will only save about $40. bucks rebuilding your's yourself. If you shop thrifty. For most this is the best option
