Default 2003 wheel/rim compatibility

Can anyone verify that the chrome rim (5 spokes - IMG_0185.JPG) which came off a 2003 PT Cruiser is compatible with my 2003 PT which came the aluminum rims (7 spokes IMG_0184.JPG).

All factory PT rims from 15" to 17" will fit all PT models without modification.

Hmmm? What about the larger brake calipers on the GT. Your saying the 15 inch wheels would go right over them?

I drove the dream home on two steel pt rims on the left side. They are still on it. Dreams in 03 were built on gt platform.
Of course that is also saying that the brakes are OEM to.
