Default Front-Left Wheel making a lot of noise

Hey everyone,

Need some advice. For the past few weeks I noticed that when I'm driving my front-left wheel has been making a lot of noise. At first I thought it could be the lug nuts not being on securely, checked and they were pretty on there. Then I thought it might be the tire (since I was overdo on getting new tires). I went and got new tires but the sound is still there. The sound is slow moving when I'm going 25-40 MPH but when I get around 55 MPH, the sound gets faster like I hit the fast forward button on the CD player. I'm wondering what I can do to fix this. Or I am over reacting because I first noticed this when for once I didn't had my music going full blast lol. So if anyone can give advice, that would be most helpful. Thanks!

My guess would be a wheel bearing.

With no noise description like a roar I would say like Ray. Wheel bearing. Try turning the wheel left or right, should sound better in at least one direction.

That's what I thought it might be but wanted thoughts from you guys. Do you know how much replacing one would cost?

I do my own so I'm guessing $200. Good time for a friend to help with tools and some mechanical tutoring.

I found this video on Youtube which pretty much cover's everything I believe.

My other question is; should I do the replacement now or is it okay to let it go for a while more?

i let mine go until it was annoyingly loud at 25mph. sooner or later you'll find yourself humming along with it, speaking louder to your passengers, listening to your keys rattle, etc. my point is.. after a while, you'll know it's time..
