Default Spring lowering mod w picts

Well guys, It's been a busy weekend. along with purchasing a "twin" pt for my wife I managed to get my new H&R shocks, struts, and lowering springs installed. The ride is very good. It rides practically the same as far as comfort. I still have not gotten the rear sway bar installed (waiting on attachment parts), so I have not had the chance to to see how it handles curves. I do like the look and feel of the lowered springs. The rear lowered 2", front 1 1/2". Yeah, I'm grinning like crazy!

Looks great and you did a great job installing them yourself.

Makes it fun to drive even more now doesn't it?

Yes it does. I watched a YouTube video first. The only thing to watch for is on the front struts, you really should remove the upper (cam) bolt on lower strut arm first. That is very important as I didn't on the first one and it was much harder to remove. Second was much easier. Thanks for all the encouragement.

Hey Chriscokid!

Looks great... well done. Can't wait to install mine. I'm still messing around with the rear sway bar install hardware.

Where did you end up purchasing the items? I was thinking about the Eibach install kit, but it sounds somewhat hit/miss on the success with it....

You've been a great resource so far!

Thanks!

Awesome job!!! This is exactly what I want to do next year. 1-1/2" in the front and 2" in the rear looks perfect!

You say "remove the upper camberbolt first". Why would you ? I jack up the suspension arm untill the bolts loosen and just take them out. Easy as that

Hey Busa... I couldn't really say what issues, since I have not mounted the sway bar with the Eibach kit. However, I do recall some previous posts that mentioned issues. Since I'm not using an Eibach swaybar I was also a little concerned about compatibility with a H&R swaybar...

That being said, I have used Eibach products previously and its always been good quality...

oh i thought you were talking about the springs.

I have the front and rear sways too.

I changed to super slammer springs with the eibach swaybars with no issues, I dunno
